Pizza Hut/Wing Street: All Sauces & Seasonings Ranked Week 4

This review series is not great. I’ve eaten eight varieties of wings from Pizza Hut/WingStreet now… and none of them have been very good. Every sauce has a “yep, I guess that’s kind of the flavor they were going for” vibe to it. If you’re looking for more about this increasingly bad project, you can check out the intro or the overall rankings.

As this project is bad, I keep taking weeks off. Two weeks ago was the last time I reviewed any wings… and in the last 2 weeks, Pizza Hut has changed their wings. They now say “33% Larger” on them, and also you can order them in quantities of 6 rather than 8. So, that doesn’t change my review process at all. The good news is that this weeks’ batch of wings was properly sauced, unlike the hot sauce hot tub incident of Week 3.

So, let’s keep going I guess… Only 1 more week after this, I hope.

Hawaiian Teriyaki

Yeah, they kind of teste like Teriyaki. They aren’t bad. There’s a little sweetness, there’s a little soy. Not a lot of spice. Do these sound like the rest of the wing flavors that Pizza Hut/WingStreet offers? Well, they kind of are. Middle of the pack in a middle of the pack variety of sauces, I guess.

Spicy Garlic

Same weird (but kind of appealing) flavor profile as the rest of Pizza Hut’s buffalo line but with Garlic? Or at least the Garlic is advertised. These don’t necessarily taste any more or less garlic than anythign else.

Almost no noticeable spice. Don’t know why spicy is in the name, or why they serve wings at Pizza Hut, or why I’m reviewing all of them.`
